A night in Bangkok is not just for sailors but also for people who are looking for a cheap holiday getaway. Since the Thai currency is comparatively low, it makes a weekend getaway affordable and fun. While the city is filled with hotels there is a substitute which I was able to put to the test, it is commonly known as Bangkok serviced apartment. I was amazed to note the fact these apartments provide a home away from home with all the luxuries I could find in a hotel. I had the choice of cooking my own meals or being pampered like a five star hotel guest. It truly made me feel like I was a local in a foreign country.
After a day of shopping and trying new cuisines I explored the city. Later the evening brought me back to my apartment where I was able to enjoy the massage services my apartment maid offered. On considering the options of what Bangkok’s night life had to offer, I put on my new set of clothes and shoes and picked a club to spend the night away. The nightlife in Bangkok is one of the most unique ones in the world with sky-bars and posh night clubs. I visited one of the largest hotels in Bangkok. To which I was able to enjoy the company of numerous wonderful people. Once I was done I returned home to my serviced apartment.
